WHY was I not taught this? It’s absolutely BRILLIANT! I’ve always struggled with trigonometry precisely because I always forget these relationships. Now everything is so much easier - I just think of this diagram (click through for the explanation) and I can work everything out! So much better than the ordinary a, b, c triangle… The diagram and explanation now hangs over my desk, so I’ll never forget!
